Lemon Zest was the brains behind the launch of Weeton’s, a new concept in farm shop, based in Harrogate. In its first year of trading we secured several high profile articles about Weeton’s, including the front page of The Daily Telegraph Weekend section – which heralded Weeton’s as ‘the new face of retailing’.

We’ve also handled public relations for public sector brands such as Deliciouslyorkshire. A recent 12 month campaign produced more than 600 newspaper cuttings, six television broadcasts and a dozen radio interviews, reaching more than 15 million consumers in total.

We handle the PR for East Yorkshire based Living Salads and have secured features in the Times, Telegraph, Good Housekeeping, Country Living and the Daily Express in the space of 4 months. Additionally, they’ve has superb broadcast opportunities, appearing on radio 2 Drivetime (9 million listeners) and BBC’s Working Lunch Programme in February 2009. This coverage has helped to secure listings in all the major supermarkets.

A recent project includes working with the monks at Ampleforth Abbey, promoting their cider and apple brandy businesses. The Abbey has appeared in the BBC 2 flagship food series What to Eat Now (6 million viewers), the Sunday Telegraph Magazine and most recently a 3 page feature in the Observer Food Monthly Magazine.

Lemon Zest is able to offer great results at highly competitive fees. Low overheads and a network of expert people used on a freelance basis help to keep costs to a minimum.
